Sequoia Moon is an album by Summer Salt, an indie band hailing from Dallas, Texas. Known for their unique blend of '60s-inspired pop, doo-wop, and bossa nova, the band first captivated audiences with their 2014 debut, Driving to Hawaii, which reflects both the recklessness and escapism of youth. For this project, I had the incredible opportunity to design the branding for Sequoia Moon. I created the logo entirely from scratch, ensuring it captured the nostalgic and dreamy essence of the band's sound. Additionally, I designed the album's packaging, as well as the promotional and marketing materials, blending visual elements that complemented the indie, sun-soaked vibe of their music. This project allowed me to combine my love for design with an appreciation for storytelling through visuals, creating a cohesive brand identity for the album.
